Ingredients

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust according to your spice preference)

Salt and pepper to taste

12 mini slider buns

1 cup coleslaw (store-bought or homemade)

Sliced pickles (for garnish)

Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:

    - In a large bowl, combine the boneless chicken thighs with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated with the spices.

      Slow Cook:

        - Transfer the seasoned chicken thighs into the slow cooker. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar until well combined. Pour this flavorful mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.

          Set the Cooker:

            - Cover the slow cooker with its lid and set it to cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours. The chicken is done when it is tender and can be easily shredded with a fork.

              Shred the Chicken:

                - Once the cooking time is up, carefully remove the chicken from the slow cooker and place it on a large plate. Using two forks, shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir it into the sauce. Let it simmer on low for an additional 30 minutes, allowing the chicken to fully absorb the rich flavors.

                  Prepare the Sliders:

                    - While the chicken is simmering, preheat your broiler. Lightly toast the mini slider buns under the broiler for about 2 minutes or until they are golden brown.

                      Assemble the Sliders:

                        - For each slider bun, spoon a generous portion of the BBQ chicken mixture onto the bottom half. Add a hearty scoop of coleslaw on top of the chicken, followed by a couple of slices of pickles. Finish with the top half of the slider bun.

                          Serve:

                            - Arrange the assembled sliders on a large serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and serve warm. Enjoy your delicious smoky sweet sliders!
