2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced (approximately 3 medium peaches)

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for added crunch)

1 tablespoon turbinado sugar for sprinkling on top (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your muffin tin by lining it with paper muffin liners or by lightly greasing each cup with cooking spray.
