Ingredients

1 package (12 oz) wonton wrappers

1 pound ground beef (preferably 80/20 blend)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)

1/2 cup diced pickles

1/4 cup ketchup

1/4 cup mustard

1/4 cup diced onions (optional)

Olive oil or cooking spray, for greasing the muffin tin

Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it reaches the right temperature for baking.

Prepare Wonton Wrappers: Take a mini muffin tin and lightly grease each cup with olive oil or cooking spray. Carefully place a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, pressing it down to form a small cup shape, allowing the edges to rise over the rim slightly. This will create a nice border once baked.

Cook the Beef: In a medium skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook the beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, until it is browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. After cooking, drain any excess grease from the skillet.

Assemble Filling: Remove the skillet with the cooked beef from the heat. Stir in the shredded cheese, diced pickles, and optional diced onions, mixing until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.

Fill Wonton Cups: Using a spoon, generously fill each wonton cup with the cheeseburger mixture, packing it slightly to ensure a hearty filling.

Bake: Place the muffin tin in your preheated oven and bake for approximately 12-15 minutes, or until the edges of the wonton cups are crispy and golden brown.

Add Condiments: Once baked, carefully remove the tin from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Before serving, drizzle ketchup and mustard over the tops of each wonton cup based on your taste preference.

Garnish and Serve: Use a small spoon to carefully lift the wonton cups out of the muffin tin. If desired, garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color. Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.

Prep Time: 20 min | Total Time: 35 min | Servings: 24 cups

Optional Serving Suggestions: Pair with additional condiments on the side, such as BBQ sauce or ranch dressing, for dipping. These delightful bites are perfect for parties, game days, or a fun family dinner!
