Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 lb ground beef (preferably 80/20 for optimal juiciness)

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup finely diced yellow onion

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup dill pickle relish (optional but recommended)

1/4 cup ketchup (for serving)

1/4 cup mustard (for serving)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). While the oven warms up, line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.

Prepare the Filling: In a large skillet set over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until well-browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat from the skillet. Then, stir in the diced yellow onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions become translucent and softened. Remove the skillet from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.

Roll Out the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface or cutting board and separate it into triangles as indicated on the packaging.

Assemble the Sliders: On the wider end of each triangle, place approximately 1 tablespoon of the beef mixture. Follow this with about 1 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese. If using, add a small dollop of dill pickle relish for an extra burst of flavor.

Roll the Sliders: Starting from the wide end, carefully roll the triangle so that it wraps around the filling, moving towards the tip. Ensure that each slider is rolled tightly. Position the rolled sliders seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, making sure to leave space between each one to allow for expansion.

Bake: For enhanced flavor, brush the tops of the sliders with a bit of melted butter (optional) and lightly sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the sliders are beautifully golden brown.

Serve: Once baked, remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on a wire rack. Serve warm with ketchup and mustard on the side for dipping.

                Prep Time, Total Time, Servings:
