1 lb ground turkey or ground beef

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 cup cherry tomatoes, diced

½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

1 avocado, diced

1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Large lettuce leaves (such as romaine or butter lettuce) for wrapping

Optional toppings: sliced jalapeños, fresh cilantro, salsa

Cook the Meat: In a large skillet set over medium heat, add the ground turkey or beef. Use a spatula to break apart the meat as it cooks, until it's evenly browned. This should take approximately 5-7 minutes.

    Sauté Vegetables: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the cooked meat. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes, or until the onion becomes soft and translucent.

      Seasoning: Sprinkle in the chili powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine, then continue cooking for another minute to toast the spices, which will enhance their flavors.
