4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Zest and juice of 2 fresh lemons

3 cloves of garlic, minced finely

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary)

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)

1 teaspoon sea salt

½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

For the Asparagus:

1 bunch of fresh asparagus, woody ends trimmed

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Sea salt and black pepper to taste

Zest of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Marinate the Chicken: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, sea salt, and black pepper. Gently mix to create a marinade. Add the chicken breasts, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for a more intense flavor.

    Prepare the Asparagus: As the chicken marinates, rinse the asparagus under cold water and trim the tough ends. In a separate bowl, drizzle the asparagus with olive oil, then sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper, lemon zest, and garlic powder (if using). Toss the asparagus until evenly coated with the seasoning blend.

      Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill to a medium-high setting, aiming for a temperature of around 400°F (200°C). This should take about 10-15 minutes.
