Ingredients

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and diced

1 cup crushed pretzels (approximately 2 cups of whole pretzels)

2 tablespoons melted coconut oil (or unsalted butter)

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Optional: additional crushed pretzels for topping

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Mixture: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly blended. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness according to your preference.

Incorporate Strawberries: Carefully fold in the diced strawberries into the yogurt mixture using a spatula. Take care not to crush the strawberries too much; you want to maintain their shape for a delightful texture. Set the strawberry yogurt mixture aside.

Create the Pretzel Crust: In a separate bowl, combine the crushed pretzels with the melted coconut oil and sea salt. Mix the ingredients together until all the pretzel crumbs are evenly coated and begin to clump together.

Shape the Pretzel Rounds: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Using a tablespoon, scoop out small portions of the pretzel mixture and press them down into flat, round shapes measuring about 2 inches in diameter. Aim for uniform thickness so they freeze evenly.

Apply the Yogurt Topping: Take a spoonful of the prepared strawberry yogurt mixture and dollop it generously on top of each pretzel round. Use the back of the spoon to gently spread the yogurt slightly, ensuring that the pretzel edges remain exposed for visual appeal.

Freeze the Treats: Once all your pretzel rounds are topped with the yogurt mixture, carefully place the baking sheet in the freezer. Allow the treats to freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the yogurt is completely solid.

Serve the Frozen Treats: After the freezing period, remove the rounds from the parchment paper. Serve immediately for a refreshing snack. If desired, you can sprinkle additional crushed pretzels on top of each round just before serving for an extra crunch.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 4 hours 15 minutes | Servings: 12 rounds

Presentation Tips: Arrange the frosted strawberry treats on a decorative platter. Consider garnishing with fresh mint leaves or additional whole strawberries for a colorful touch.
