Ingredients

3 ripe bananas

1 cup Greek yogurt (use plain or vanilla based on your preference)

1/2 cup Nutella (or any preferred hazelnut spread)

1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as hazelnuts or walnuts)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for an extra touch of sweetness)

A pinch of salt

Mini cupcake liners (optional, for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Begin by peeling the bananas and slicing them into thick rounds, approximately 1 inch in thickness. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Create the Yogurt Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt with honey (if you choose to use it) and a pinch of salt. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and creamy, ensuring all ingredients are well integrated.

Assemble the Banana Sandwiches: Take one banana slice and spread about 1 teaspoon of Nutella on top. Position another banana slice on top of the Nutella to form a mini banana sandwich. Repeat this process with all the banana slices.

Coat with Yogurt: Dip each assembled banana Nutella sandwich into the yogurt mixture, making sure they are fully coated in yogurt for flavor and texture enhancement.

Add Chopped Nuts: While the yogurt coating is still wet, generously sprinkle the chopped nuts over each sandwich to ensure they adhere well.

Freeze the Bombs: Return the coated banana sandwiches to the parchment-lined baking sheet. Once all are prepared, place the baking sheet in the freezer and allow the bombs to freeze for a minimum of 3 hours or until they are completely solid.

Serve and Enjoy: After freezing, take the banana Nutella bombs out of the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes to soften slightly for easier handling. Serve immediately! For an appealing presentation, consider using mini cupcake liners to hold each bomb.
