Ingredients

2 cups filtered water

1/4 cup edible flowers (such as lavender, hibiscus, or rose petals)

1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional, for sweetness)

1 cup of your favorite fruit juice (recommendations: lemonade, grapefruit, or pomegranate)

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Slices of fresh fruit (such as strawberries, oranges, or lemons)

Instructions

Prepare the Flower Ice Cubes: Start by bringing 2 cups of filtered water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan. Once boiling, remove from heat and allow the water to cool slightly for about 5 minutes. Add the edible flowers to the warm water, ensuring they are fully submerged, and let them steep for 15 to 20 minutes. If you prefer a sweeter infusion, stir in honey or agave syrup while the water is still warm.

Strain the Mixture: After steeping, pour the flower-infused water through a fine mesh strainer into an ice cube tray, discarding the solid flowers. Allow the strained liquid to cool completely to room temperature before carefully transferring the tray to the freezer.

Freeze the Ice Cubes: Place the ice cube tray in the freezer and let it sit for at least 4 to 6 hours, or until the water has frozen solid into ice cubes.

Assemble the Mocktails: Once your floral ice cubes are ready, take a glass and fill it with 3 to 4 flower ice cubes. Gently pour your selected fruit juice over the ice cubes, filling the glass, but leaving a little space at the top for stirring.

Garnish and Serve: For an extra burst of color and flavor, add a few fresh mint leaves and some slices of your favorite fresh fruit on top. Stir gently to combine the flavors before serving. Enjoy your refreshing Blossom Breeze Mocktail!
