Ingredients

4 boneless pork chops (approximately 1 inch thick)

1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix

1 cup cream of mushroom soup (or homemade alternative)

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Pork Chops: Use paper towels to thoroughly pat the pork chops dry. If desired, lightly season both sides with salt and additional black pepper to enhance the flavor.

Mix the Sauce: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, blend together the ranch seasoning, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Whisk the mixture until it is smooth and uniform in consistency.

Layer the Ingredients: Arrange the pork chops in a single layer at the bottom of the crockpot. Carefully pour the creamy ranch mixture over the pork chops, ensuring they are completely covered and well-coated.

Cook: Cover the crockpot with its lid and set it to cook on low heat for 6 to 7 hours, or on high heat for 3 to 4 hours. The pork chops are done when they become tender and can be easily shredded with a fork.

Add Cheese: About 30 minutes before you plan to serve, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and re-cover the crockpot. Allow the cheese to melt into the sauce, enriching the flavor and creaminess.

Garnish and Serve: Once the cooking time is complete, serve the creamy ranch pork chops over a fluffy bed of rice or smooth mashed potatoes. Drizzle with the extra sauce from the crockpot and garnish with a generous sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley to add a vibrant touch!
