Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Cooked pasta or rice (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Start by seasoning both sides of the chicken breasts with a generous sprinkle of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, ensuring an even coating for maximum flavor.

Sauté the Garlic: Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until it becomes fragrant but not browned. Remove the skillet from heat to prevent burning the garlic.

Combine Ingredients in the Crockpot: Place the seasoned chicken breasts into your crockpot. Pour the sautéed garlic over the chicken, followed by the chicken broth, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Finally, add half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Gently stir to combine all the ingredients, ensuring the chicken is well-coated in the creamy mixture.

Cook: Cover the crockpot with its lid and cook the mixture on low heat for 6-7 hours, or on high heat for 3-4 hours. The chicken is ready when it is fork-tender and easily shreds apart.

Create the Creamy Sauce: After cooking, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the sauce for a hearty texture. Stir in the remaining grated Parmesan cheese and mix until it melts into the sauce, creating a rich and creamy consistency.

Serve: Garnish the dish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness. For a complete meal, serve the creamy garlic Parmesan chicken over a bed of your favorite cooked pasta or rice.
