1 large cucumber, grated and excess water squeezed out

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Optional: 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin for an extra kick

Begin by grating the cucumber using a box grater or a food processor. After grating, transfer the cucumber into a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth. Gently twist the cloth to wring out all excess moisture. This step is crucial as it prevents the dip from becoming too watery.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the well-drained cucumber with the plain Greek yogurt. Use a spatula or spoon to mix the ingredients thoroughly until they are evenly incorporated.
